To make the best use of the F-350 capabilities, though, you really need the 6.7-liter PowerStroke turbodiesel engine. The PowerStroke turbodiesel supplies 400 horsepower and an incredible 800 pound-feet of torque - exactly what you need to transport sizable farming machinery or a gargantuan family camper.
What do third-generation used Ford F-350 buyers need to know?
Used buyers should note that this generation kicked off with a different engine lineup than the one it eventually ended up with. It consisted of three options. The base engine was a 5.4-liter V8 rated for 235 horses and 335 pound-feet of torque. An optional 6.8-liter V10 made 300 horses and 365 pound-feet of torque.
