That belief remains part of how we operate. Our associates volunteer, our dealerships support local causes, and the Swope family invests directly in organizations serving people throughout our region.

Serving our region
Rooted in Hardin County
Our community commitment extends throughout Meade, Breckinridge, LaRue, Nelson, and Grayson counties. These are the communities where our associates live and our customers raise their families.
In 1999, William “Bill” Foster Swope opened Swope’s Cars of Yesteryear Museum in Elizabethtown. The museum houses his collection of more than 70 vintage and classic automobiles, and admission remains free to the public.
Request community support
Tell us about your organization.
Swope reviews sponsorship and donation requests from schools, nonprofits, first responder organizations, youth programs, and community initiatives across Hardin County and the surrounding region.
Submit a sponsorship letter on your organization’s letterhead. Include the event or program details, your deadline, the requested support, and an itemized explanation of each sponsorship level.
Send your request four to six weeks before your event or deadline. Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis.
